His artistic approach and uninhibited creativity has led him to establishing himself as one of the most sought after hair & makeup artists in today’s highly competitive industry. His talents have been compared to industry legends such as Kevin Aucoin, Sam Fine & Hairstyling Mogul Vidal Sassoon.

    Born in Belize, and raised in Chicago, Daryon grew up in what he would refer to as a "House of Beauty" where glamour was an intricate part of life. Deeply drawn to the elements he began assisting in the family salon picking up tips and learning the value of hard work. Daryon studied art in high school, which put him at the forefront of his passion making room for the immediate opportunities as a makeup artist to blossom. Starting with the majorette team at Corliss High he put together a small tackle box of makeup items and placed himself as their in-house beauty guy, it wasn’t an easy fete but determination was a key factor in winning over his peers to allowing what he had to offer. However, this was due to his precision, dexterity, and intimate knowledge of the structure of the human face that made the ultimate difference in his unique application process. Constantly amping up his techniques, always ambitious and eager to learn Daryon decided he wanted more from the beauty world so he tediously developed his hand whilst tirelessly studying "The Art Of Makeup" further connected him to his passion. The guy knew he had the skills down to become a M.A.C. freelance Artist at the age of 17 years old, and he did just that. Landing a grounding chance with one of the top beauty brands of that time was just the kind of confidence boost he needed to supersede his imagination of what he could achieve. Upon completing his bachelor’s degree in fashion design Daryon then enrolled at Truman Beauty College of Chicago to receive his beauty/barber license. Dually equipped with the industry standard certifications Daryon took flight to New York City where he began testing with noted beauty and fashion photographers, which gave him first hand skill-sharpening experience, further helping him realize his undeniable abilities to seize his calling to masterfully becoming dynamic dual Makeup and Hair expert.  At age 24 he was fortunate enough to  be called upon by Marvet Britto entertainment PR/ Brand Strategist who saw a special spark in Daryon abilities to turn out hair and face in record time she saw how he could be an asset to her business. Britto; would be named the one who was paramount in elevating his success; single handedly built his impressive celebrity clientele list placing him at the center of her company when it came to anything "Beauty".  Eventually signing to a prestigious talent agency where he was called upon for numerous beauty ad campaigns, and commercial work he found his way to becoming the resident makeup artist for two seasons at the Emmy Award-Winning Talk Show "Tyra" hosted by former supermodel Tyra Banks in which he spearheaded the makeup team landing himself and team with an Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Makeup by the National Academy of Television Arts & Science.
 

    Daryon is a trailblazer who has dedicated his life to the creative sphere of hair and makeup and grooming. His sure handed expertise in both art forms has allowed him to work for numerous beauty brands such as Tresemme, Cover Girl, M.A.C., Bobbie Brown Cosmetics, and Chanel. Having worked in many major cities including Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, London he's fully realized and known for his contribution to the art form. To date, Daryon has worked with the likes of actresses Kim Cattrall, Angela Bassett, Vivica A. Fox, Nia Long, NeNe Leakes and Grammy Award-Winning artists as Mariah Carey and Michelle Williams. Actor and singer Tyrese Gibson, Sean Garrett, actors Louis Gossett Jr., Blair Underwood and Terrence Howard, basketball star Dwyane Wade. Dance choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson, singer Omarion, Elle Varner, R&B songstress Faith Evans, India Arie, Leela James, Vivian Green as well as photographers Keith Major, Derek Blanks, Stanley Debas, Nigel Barker. He has also contributed his expertise to a host of Films, Networks and Daytime Talk Shows Daryon has also had the distinction of working with Editor Mikki Taylor, Playwright Danai Gurira and major consumer publications such as, Marie Claire, Glamour, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Essence, Atlanta Magazine, Zink!, and ESPN Magazine on highly-visible campaigns.
